Anti-Ageing Treatments in Salem: Botox, Fillers & Skin Rejuvenation
Good anti-ageing care looks natural. You still look like yourself, just fresher and more rested. Every aesthetic treatment here is planned and performed by a dermatologist with a special interest in aesthetic procedures.
Botulinum toxin (Botox)
Botulinum toxin relaxes the small muscles that cause expression lines, smoothing the skin above them. It is commonly used for:
- Forehead lines
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Crow’s feet around the eyes
- Excessive sweating of the underarms, palms or feet (hyperhidrosis)
The treatment takes about 15 minutes with very fine needles. Results appear within a week and last around 3 to 4 months.
Dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid fillers are gels that restore lost volume, support sagging areas and smooth deep folds. They are used for:
- Under-eye hollows (tear troughs)
- Cheeks and midface volume
- Smile lines (nasolabial folds)
- Lips
- Chin and jawline definition
Depending on the area and product, results last from about 6 to 18 months. Because hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved if needed, they are a reversible option.
Skin rejuvenation
Not every concern needs injections. Treatments that improve skin quality, tone and texture include:
- Skin boosters: injectable hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin from within for a natural glow.
- Microneedling, with or without PRP, to stimulate collagen and refine texture.
- Fractional CO₂ laser for fine lines, pores and uneven texture.
- Chemical peels and HydraFacial for brightness and smoothness.
- Prescription creams such as retinoids, together with daily sunscreen, the foundation of any anti-ageing plan.
Safety first
- A detailed assessment of your face, skin and goals before any treatment.
- Approved, medical-grade products only.
- Injections given by a dermatologist with a thorough knowledge of facial anatomy.
- Treatments are postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell us about any medicines you take, especially blood thinners.

Frequently asked questions
Will I look frozen after Botox?
Not when the dose and placement are planned carefully. The aim is to soften lines while keeping natural expression. Dr. Kiruthika prefers a conservative approach, and a small top-up can be added at review if needed.
How long does Botox last?
The effect starts within 3 to 7 days, is fully visible at about 2 weeks and usually lasts 3 to 4 months. Treatment for excessive sweating often lasts longer.
Are fillers safe?
Hyaluronic acid fillers are among the most widely used aesthetic treatments and are safe in trained hands. A key advantage is that they can be dissolved with an enzyme if needed. Choosing an injector with detailed knowledge of facial anatomy matters most for safety.
What is the right age to start?
There is no fixed age. Daily sunscreen and a good skin-care routine help at any age. Injectables are considered when lines or volume loss start to bother you, and Dr. Kiruthika will tell you honestly if a treatment is not needed yet.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. There may be small bumps or mild bruising at injection sites for a few days. After Botox, avoid lying down, heavy exercise and massaging the area for the rest of the day.
